8:29 am - "I can't dance to that....Wheres My BOO!!" -Crazy CIT Ethan
|
WOW! It's been a while. Well I might as well take this time to update the world on how my life is. To begin, those lyrics were for my job. I'm a camp counselor at the city of North Miami Beach's parks and recreation day camp aka Camp No-Mi-Be. Each year we put on a camp show which usually has a weak theme in which cool songs are not allowed. This year however they let us pick our own songs. So my group, Pod 3 (5th and 6th graders) decided to do a melody. It really cool. The girls will start out doing a dance to Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker" , the boys will the come out and do Rob Thomas' "This is how a heart breaks", and then both groups will come to do the big finale Black Eyed Peas "Don't MESS with my heart" (Clean version). The dance is going to be really cool. The reason I put those lyrics on my journal was because i couldn't print them out, so i put it on my journal so I could copy them and print them out at work.
Anyways, a hell of a lot has happened since I last updated. I sorta graduated. Nothing Big, lol. We also were on the losing side of the biggest upset to Norland (Enough about that). I picked Williams College in Massachusetts. Its hard to think of stuff. I was going to update so many times but was really lazy. Now I can't think about it. Senior Year was amazing. I'm so sad to be leaving. I'm gonna miss every1. It was really cool how I became close with so many ppl this year. Big shout outs to Sofa and Gabe. I love those guys. This year (especially towards the end) we became an awesome trio. Shout out to Jillian who was an awesome friend this past year. I kno I'm leaving out a lot of ppl and I'm sorry. Thats why I'm gonna ask every1 who reads this to comment with a memory that reminds them of me and their friendship and I'll respond with my favorite memory of them. Thanks to every1 who made these 4 years the best of my life and I'll do my best to hang out with all of you beofre August 27th.
I'll update alot this summer.

I often wondered what could drive a person to suddenly blow up and fill their journals with all their problems and complaints in the world. However, I think I have found out why. Tomorrow is the first game of the season and frankly I need to get all of this off my mind.
I HATE when people you don't even know or talk to decide that they want to start spreading rumors and lies about you that have no basis in truth at all. I don't care if they're jealous or just an asshole (the latter being the more accurate), be a man and say it to my face if you have a f*cking problem.
I HATE when you do so much for one person and they repay you by stabbing you in the back and being an asshole. It's understandable that you have things going on in your life, but to take it out on people that don't deserve it, there is no excuses.
I HATE when a friend has so much potential, yet they kill it with the worst attitudes. It's hard to comprehend how someone can be so arrogant. On one hand, they are your friend and you love them but how do you draw the line and make them see what there attitude is doing to themselves and others.
I HATE when people take advantage of someone and take for granted what that person does for them. Too often people don't appreciate what someone does for them and hopefully they can realize that next year when that person won't be there.
I HATE when people play games to try and guage what someone thinks. For once I'd like to see people just try and shy away from the games and let people know how they truly feel.
I HATE how cruel fate can be. How it snatches away someone you truly love, only to dangle them in your face and finally snatch him away for good. How the feelings of sadness and mouring creep up on you when you least expect it and how people can't relaize that even after two years it still hurts so bad.
It hurts when someone you don't even know judges you becuase of lies someone made up about you.
It hurts when old friends change and don't have as much time for you anymore.
It hurts when you try to be so nice to people and be the best person you can be, yet you're forced to go through so much heartache and grief, while people who could care less about anything but themselves lead care free lives.
It hurts to think about what ifs. What if someone had been smaret enough to realize that something was wrong when they got that phone call? What if someone was still here to watch someone doing all this stuff and accomplishing all these things? What if someone didn't have to feel this pain?
As I read over what I sed, I realize that at some point and time, I've been guilty of most of these things. For this I am sorry. The thing that seperates them is that I had no intention to hurt anyone or mess up anything. At this point in time, I look at these things people have done to me and can't help but not recognize any remorse or accept that they didn't mean any harm. Maybe I hold too high standards for people. Maybe I expect too much from certain people. If the latter is the case then its sad, because I hold alot of people in such high esteem. Therein might lie the problem. I expect so much from certain people that it hurts when they dip slightly below a certain level. For that I'm sorry. Now that I've let all that out, I don't feel as good as I would have hoped, but I want to end on a postive note.
I LOVE that God allowed someone three perfect years in which they could finally know the person they loved so long.
I LOVE that someone could be as lucky as to have a friend who, although they had some minor disagreements, has been one of the best things in that persons life.
I LOVE that someone can be blessed with such good friends who he can share some of the most private things with.
I LOVE that once and while someone comes along who you can talk to immedietly and feel that you know them for a while.
I LOVE to have family that annoys the hell out of you and you still can't wait to be with them.
I LOVE that tomorrow is the first game of the season and I'm starting.
Thanks for listening and feel free to comment on anything. Heres to me not worrying about stuff and enjoying the rest of senior year (Translation: feeling down again sometime next week). Cheers.

Wow! It's been a while. Sorry, I havent felt up to updating in a while. But I thought I'd update on how my break has been going. In one word, Great! Only problem is that its traveling too fast.
Saturday 12/18: We had a double header against St. Andrews. We won the first game 7-1 and tied the second game 4-4. I went 2-2 with a triple and a run. All in all it was a good day. At night, Gandhi and Rudy hung out at the GP's as we watched the tape of the game.
Sunday 12/19: Hung out until Gandhi called me and we went to the movies. We saw Oceans 11. It was a great movie. We also walked around the mall as he looked for gifts for a certain some1. I also purchased a gift for my mom. Also, we saw Lorena and the twins. Chatted for a lil bit as they ate at the food court.
Monday 12/20: Played a little short notice football with some ppl. It was ok until the last game when i threw 5 INT's b/c of the wind but we still won. Afterwords, Gandhi, Evan , and I went to the mall and I shopped for the rest of my gifts. Gandhi also went on a spending spree buying like 200 bucks worth of stuff.
Tuesday 12/21: YAB Boomers trip turned into Sofa, Gandhi, and I playing games for 5 hours. The go-karts were the best. The last race I started last and passed both of them to win. I also killed them in Mini-Golf. I usually dont brag this much but last time Sofa and I played he killed me. Then, Gandhi and I went to eat dinner at the mall. Lol. 3 days in a row.
Wednesday 12/22: Woke up to John calling me to play football. It was ok... not the best day of football but not that bad. Afterwords, went with Gandhi to the mall. We met Zach and Malika and helped Zach pick out a gift for his g/f. Also, big shoutout to Rhonda who hooked me up with a free gift.
Thursday 12/23: Hung out at the GP's until John called me and let me kno that Poker night was at 6:30. It was fun. Won like 2 bucks.
Friday 12/24: CHRISTMAS EVE. I spent the day doing college apps, how fun! For dinner, my brother came over and then we went to my Grandma's house.
CHRISTMAS 12/25: I got my new phone. It is ahhhhhh-some. Before I went to my aunts house. I stopped by Karly and Evans houses to give them their gifts. Many Thanks to them for the awesome gifts. After that, I went to my annual get together at my Aunt Laura's house. It always good to see family. Then, I went to my mom's friends house. Finally, I went to my Uncle Brians house for dinner. Ended a GREAT Christmas by going with Joaquin and Karly to Evan's house to give him his gift.
Sunday 12/26: Went to practice with Sofa and Duffy. Then, Evan came over and chilled at the GP's. We played this cool football game that Rudlyn and I created a couple years ago. I beat him in Round 1 4-0 and beat him in Round 2, 4-3. We ate Marios for dinner and then he went home
Today 12/27: Went to practice a froze my ass off. Afterwords, I went and bought a new glove and shorts from Sports Authority and ate McDonalds. Then, Rudlyn came over and we played the football game. I won round 1, 4-0. He won round 2, 4-0. The final round came down to some drama. I was up 3-1. Then he tied it at 3. And in teh final game I was up 11-0 and he threw the first 11 ever. I came back five minutes later and won in OT. Then, I came home for dinner and I plan to finish college apps at my moms office tomorrow.
Heres to a slow and great rest of the break.

"And then I take a blow up doll on a plane and dress it up like my wife. Then the flight attendant comes and I say " Do you have my wifes kosher meal," then she says "Oh, I'm sorry sir we dont have kosher meals." So then, I take a pin and stick it in my wifes ass so she starts deflating and flying around the entire plane and say "See what you did, you don't give her her blintzes and she went into a seizure!" I'm getting into the habit of only updating after weekends. Thats because nothing really interesting happens in school. I'm more just trying to get through the week so i can enjoy the weekend. I've got a realy bad case of Senioritis. I just don't want to do anything at all. I have no desire to do anything I'm supposed to.
Friday: Found out practice was cancelled and rushed to Miami Shores so I could play football. It was alot of fun of course. Then, Sofa, Gandhi and I went to Ambers surprise party. IT WAS GREAT! Don't think I can go into any more, but I can say that if you ever have a fire in your house, don't ask Ashley to help you b/c she doesnt care, lol. After the party, We chilled at my grandparents house for a while. Congrats to Gandhi on his awesome 40 yard dash time.
Saturday: I had to go to some Little League tryouts b/c I'm on the Lil league board. Woke up at 9 and did the baseball thing from 10 to 12. After that, I went and picked up Miles who was taking his SAT's at Nova. We hung out at my GP's house for a while as I did my enviro project and he looked up corny jokes online, lol. At 6, we went to the mall and bought tickets to see Alexander. Before the movie, we went to the food court and I ate my slice of pizza and plantains. Since the movie was at 8, we walked around for a little while. I also saw a whole bunch of people. I saw Sara at the food court and she gave me nice compliment (thanks). Then I saw Nicole, Mercedes, and Caralina. They had just finshed seeing National Treasure and it was nice surprise to see them. It was great b/c i scared the hell out of Merecedes by sneaking up on her. Then we went to see the movie. It was really long. It was an ok movie but it was kinda hard to follow b/c i didnt kno the story of Alexander. After the movie I gave Miles a ride home. All in all, awesome day. Alot of new inside jokes like the Perfume lady, Bath and Body works, my Buddy List and the doll faced mannequin at Burdines, lol.
Today: Watched my SNL tape. Repeat of Jude Law and Ashlee Simpson. That Jude Law is hilarious, very good actor. Especially when he played Nickie Hilton and Tony Blair. Also I watched the Ashlee Simpson fiasco and she was lip-syncing. Nasty Style. lol. I also had to go to the Softball Clinic for the little league. Along with all that, I'm almost done with my project. Very little left to do.
Thats pretty much it. Probably update next Sunday or have a little survey during the week. Till then!

01. Who are you? 02. Are we friends? 03. When and how did we meet? 04. Do you have a crush on me? 05. Would you kiss me? 06. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it. 07. Describe me in one word. 08. What was your first impression? 09. Do you still think that way about me now? 10. What reminds you of me? 11. If you could give me anything what would it be? 12. How well do you know me? 13. When's the last time you saw me? 14. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't? If so, why not? 15. Are you going to put this on your LiveJournal and see what I say about you?
Be Nice, lol. And just to humor me, say yes to #'s 4 and 5.

Time to update...Thanksgiving Style. This weekend was awesome. I had so much fun.
Wednesday Night: Went to Coaches house for a BBQ. IT was cool. We played MVP online and Manny and I were killing the competition. BUT Stupid Manny had to be jackass and let Coach come back from a 3-0 deficit b/c hes an idiot.
Turkey Day: Woke up early to find out the instructions of how to feed the animals at my house b/c my mom and step dad were going out of town. After that, I went to play tennis, but it was raining. So instead me, Nhi, Emily, and Jeremy went to 7-11 for slurpees and doughnuts. Afterwords I went home, showered, wished all my friends a happy thanksgiving, and went to my cousins house. It was great. Good food, got to watch some movies, and hang out with my 2 year old cousin Cody who is funny b/c he has a redneck accent. Afterwords, I went to my house and fed the animals. What a blast that is!
Friday: Went and picked up Miles around noon and we headed for Miami Shores to play football. Five hours later, we had played like 5 games, met a whole bunch of new ppl, and was tired as hell. After the game, Miles and I ate at Burger King and then went with my aunt to see Christmas wit the Cranks. Kinda corny, but what do you expect. Botox scene was pretty funny and the neighborhood was kinda creepy, but in the end Santa Clause saved the day. [shakes head].
Saturday: Was a good student and cut and pasted all my articles. Got a little light headed from the spray glue ("dont get messed up now....drugs are bad for you Jacob" - Miles). At around 6:30, I went to meet Miles so we could go see Alexander with Prospero, Patrick and Woody. However, I was hungry and the place was packed, so we went to the food court and ate instead. Later on, we walked around the mall and met Jeremy. While they were in EB, I left b/c it got a little to crowded and had a nice conversation with Linda. Afterwords, we went and played basketball at Paula's house. It was fun except for the fact that it felt like my feet were bleeding (I had no shoes so I played w/o them). When the game was done I took Miles home.
Today: Went back home. Did some math HW and tried to find the Gov't extra credit. Also, watched the Fins game and chatted with Miles on how both the Dolphins and Jets are gonna miss the playoffs. However, it looks like the Jets will, lol.
Anyways, That was my weekend. Back to boring school again. Hopefully time will travel fast until I get to the 2 week vacation, which will hopefully be as fun. Heres a lil survey type thingy courtesy of Dana

Sorry Nhi! I still love you.
This week at practice has been really cool. We've been scrimmaging alot, so I got to pitch everyday. I pitched a perfect game one day. It was great! I also hit a shot off Bryant. Also, a great moment. On Thursday, we played football. It was awesome. I played QB and kicked ass in the first game. We won 8-2. I had 8 TD passes and 0 INTs.
This weekend was really cool too. On Friday, Jesse slept over the GP's. On Saturday, I helped out at little league registration, then had lunch at Dynasty Buffet with Coach, Jesse, and Manny. Afterwords, we had video game tourneys.
On Sunday, I played Tennis with Nhi and Emily. Then I worked on College Application. Thats about it. Heres to a good Thanksgiving Week!
Shout Outs: Miles and Paula (Movies this weekend), Sofa (Sold us out for Bowling...tsk tsk), Jesse, Manny, Coach (We killed you in Blitz atleast...lol)

It's been a while sense I updated. Common opening line with alot of ppl's entry. Alot has been going on since Halloween.
School: I've been doing really well in school. I have A averages in all my classes and I survived a killer test in Schemers today. In English, I recently got 3 A's in one day thanks to the Macbeth test. In Math, I got 100 on what I thought would be the hardest test, Related Rates.
Baseball: Our Fall League is officially over. We lost in the playoffs Saturday. It was fun while it lasted but I'm looking forward to start playing the regular season against slightly lesser opponents.
Friends: Big Shout out to Miles, who has become a really good friend in really short amount of time. Shout out to Manny, my new MVP opponent. Shout out to Sofa (Go Sofa, cuz thats my Sofa), Gandhi (Scope!), Duffy (BFITWW), Karly, Joaquin, Evan, Nhi, Vicki, Emily, and any1 else I forgot. Lemme kno and I'll make corrections. In my defense, I am really tired since I stayed up late last night studying for Government.
Thats about it. I look forward to hopefully playing football on early release and hanging out with ppl from the team this weekend. I will be victorious! lol.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
FRIDAY: We lost 9-3 even though I pitched well. I also got back my math test which I thought I did bad on but I got a 92.
SATURDAY: We were winning 5-3 going into the bottom of the 6th and we ended up losing 6-5. After the game I hung out with Gandhi, Sofa, and Rudy. Shout out to AK for letting us chill at his studio for a while.
SUNDAY: I did Ritchies HW. Then I worked at the Monster Mash Bash for a while. Then I went trick or treating with Evan, Aldrick, and Kaley. We went one for three with teachers. Shout out to Dr. Gottfried. You made sure we didn't strike out.
